This car’s name is double vision.
Greetings friends! It is I, your faithful servant, back with another blog post. Yes, I did skip last week as I was starting my two week staycation. One week down and oe week to go. Next Monday this time I probably won’t be as chipper. LOL
Cars, Cars Cars
If you have read through my other blog posts, you may notice that my blog post titles are song titles/lyrics. Long story short; the car’s name was Double Vision and the song “Double Vision” popped into my head and got stuck there. Now; I’m not into cars, but the Thursday before last my husband and I went on a “double date” with friends of ours to A&W and we drove in their car, a blue 1952 Chevrolet Styleline. Yes, I just had to look that up. Haha. Picture is below. One of the cars there was a 1977 Oldsmobile Cutlass (yes I had to find out this from my husband) that was modified by flipping another grill and headlight assembly under the original. I have no clue about cars, but thought this was so unique I had to share with you all. There were five or six other classic cars there and then we took a short drive to someone’s property to see a couple more.
And, that’s all I’ll say about that, because I don’t know much about cars!! That’s me standing by a “Model A?” car!
OH!! I got my camera back a week ago!! Yay!! Just in time to cross off another summer bucket list item. The Skerwink Trail. I took so many pictures on that hike! Some of them very similar to others. But I narrowed it down to 93! I’ll share a few below, some taken with my iPod to see if you can tell the difference. I am going to make the hike a blog post on its own because there was so many pictures, so much to see. It was amazingly beautiful. Even if it was foggy for most of the hike. And I still got sunburned…
Camping, Relaxing, Reading, Listening
We got back yesterday from camping in Terra Nova at our travel trailer for four nights. The kids were so excited; to get back home to their internet. LOL If I’m being honest, I suffered some internet withdrawal myself. The weather was beautiful and hot. Dare I say, almost too hot! Sunny skies most of the time and some rain at night. Would you believe I hardly took any pictures with my camera. Just a few with my iPod. Read another book, played Trouble, relaxed at the pond and just enjoyed time with family. Yesterday, we were only back a couple of hours when we had a severe thunderstorm warning. It passed by rather quickly and left some beautiful looking skies. So of course off I went to take a few shots.
Well, that’s pretty much what I’ve been up to the last couple of weeks. Lots of laundry to do today and pack up again tomorrow for a couple of nights in the big city. This mini vacation sure is going fast. I’m sure next week I’ll have lots more to tell and more photos to show. I’ll be adding more photos to my “Images” section. Just click on top of the page. I have also added a subscribe button at the bottom of the page. This way you will know when I add a new blog post to my website. Let me know if you sign up for my newsletter because I’m quite new to this and am crossing my fingers that it works. I’m always thinking disaster of course. I hope you are enjoying my photoblog and come back again to take a look at the view from where I am…
